Our stay was quite enjoyable, mainly due to the prime location that allowed us to explore downtown Blowing Rock easily. The cozy atmosphere also made for a nice evening by the fire pit outside, although it could be a bit smoky at times. I appreciated the quaint vibe of the place, which felt refreshing compared to more modern hotels, even if it does need some updates here and there.

My stay in the Standard Queen Room was quite cozy, with charming wooden walls and comfortable furnishings. The location felt perfect, just a short walk to downtown, making dining and exploring so easy. The communal coffee lounge was a nice touch, offering free coffee and cookies, which I really appreciated. However, the room lacked a refrigerator and microwave, making it inconvenient for storing snacks or leftovers. The heat unit didn't allow for much temperature control either, making the room a bit chilly at times. Additionally, the pillows could use some upgrading for better comfort.

The Standard Queen Room was charming with wooden walls and cozy furnishings. Super clean and comfy, though the bed was a bit firm for my taste. The shower had great water pressure. Overall, it had a nice old-school vibe with an actual key! Just a bit cramped in the bathroom. Loved hanging out in the communal coffee lounge and the location was perfect for exploring downtown Blowing Rock.
